4t dinamització en anglès

Hello everyone!

Last week, Luca came to our school to do a reading workshop about a book called “Pedro´s project”. 

We helped her to perform some parts of the story and we loved it! We had a blast! We also learned about the importance of being fair and loyal with our friends. Now, we are looking forward to read the book in class and see how the story continues…

La setmana passada la Luca va venir a la nostra escola per fer-nos un taller de dinamització de la lectura sobre un llibre que es diu “Pedro´s Project”. 

La vam ajudar a interpretar algunes parts del la historia i ens va encantar. 

Ens ho vam passar super bé! 

A més, vam aprendre sobre la importància de ser just i lleial amb els nostres amics. 

Ara estem desitjant llegar el llibre a classe i veure com continua la historia…

3r dinamització en anglès

Hello everyone! 

Last week, Luca came to our school to do a reading workshop about a book called “Teamwork”. We helped her to perform some parts of the story and we loved it! We had lots of fun! We learned about the importance of working as a team. Now, we are looking forward to read the book in class and see how the story continues…

Una mà articulada

A Science, els nois i noies de 5è, estem treballant l’esquelet. 

Per entendre la relació entre ossos i lligaments hem creat una mà articulada a escala real.

Saint George Day

Last week we have celebrated Saint George Day. Here we attached you some of the dragon’s drawings that the Trumpets and Saxophones drawn. Champions!

SECRET WORD

In order to review the vocabulary worked so far, we played a game with a new material.

 It is called “Secret word”. They must guess a hidden word from the first letter of each picture. It was funny and motivating for them. They wanted to prove that they know all the vocabulary!

FIND SOMEONE WHO…

Today we have been working on a new material: find someone who…

By pairs, they must look for a classmate who meet the requirements described. If it’s written “fins someone who has blue eyes” they must seek a classmate with these characteristics and write his or her name.

So, they keep practicing the reading and comprehension and writing.
They LOVED this material!

The Hungry Rat!

Hello everyone!
Here we are again!

In our half group sessions of English, we have been preparing a short play: The Hungry Rat! 

This time, some of us turned into an old witch, a locked cat, a hungry rat and narrators to act out the story!
It was fun!

Kaboom!

Today we made up a game using a roulette!

Every number was a picture related to the vocabulary worked.

But… be careful! There are some dangerous sticks that can make you lose all your sticks (points)!!!

We had fun learning!!!

Scottish Dance

Hello everyone! Last week we had a special workshop in English.

A Scottish man called David came to our school to teach us some Scottish dances and his special musical instrument: the bagpipe!

He also played it at the end of our school day! It was such a fun activity!

Renewable energy

During science in english classes we are learning about: renewable energy are this:
1.hydropower energy
2.Geothermal energy
3.Wind energy
4.Solar energy this energies are the more economical energy and are infinity. :) :) :)

Superlative adjectives

We are learning comparative and superlative adjectives and to learn the different rules we are practising them in groups so we can help each other.

We realised that we knew most of the adjectives and we also learned new ones.

We worked hard but it was worth it!

We have been actors and actresses for a day

We enjoyed listening to a story and after, in groups, we have chosen a character and we acted the story out. 

It was fun!

Hello everyone!

This year we are doing some drama sessions.

Our first story was about cowboys and cowgirls.

We listened to the story and after that, we have been practising it in class.

We have practised it at home too so we could learn it by heart to act it out in front of our classmates.
It was fun!

Learning about jungle

We have been learning about jungle animals and their habitats.

We are also learning new structures, questions and short answers and we practise them all while playing.

Science in english

Ara que ja estem a cicle superior i dominem l’anglès com a llengua estrangera, a l'escola hem començat l’assignatura de “Science in English”.

Durant el curs treballarem i aprendrem sobre el nostre entorn a partir de l’anglès com a llengua de comunicació.
